NEW CASTLE TWP., SCHUYLKILL COUNTY- Police in Schuylkill County say they've solved a 3-year-old crime. It's a violent gas station robbery in New Castle Township.

It happened in September 2005 at the Gasway on Route 61. One robber lured the worker outdoors while another struck the employee with a steel pipe.

The robbers stole nearly $500 and were on the run until this week. State police announced Tuesday they charged 25-year-old Kevin Hoff of Llewellyn for the crime.

A 17-year-old Philadelphia boy will also face charges for the hold-up.
