HAZLETON, LUZERNE COUNTY -- There's no white stuff on the ground yet, but PennDOT placed anti-skid material on Route 309 here due to slick conditions following rain. There were multiple accidents on Friday from the airport beltway to 15th Street.

Eyewitness News first told you about the problem several weeks ago, when multiple people crashed their cars after losing control.

PennDOT also put up warning signs, advising drivers to slow down in that area. Officials say they were doing tests on the condition of the road materials, but the results aren't available yet.
