Exeter, Luzerne County- Wal-Mart wasn't on the agenda but it was on the minds of area residents at Tuesday night's Exeter Borough council meeting. The proposal to move forward with Wal-Mart's requested zoning change was not up for vote. Still, area residents wanted to talk about it during the open floor portion of the meeting.
They cited traffic and other concerns as a reason to keep the store out.
Others told us they hoped it would mean new jobs.
The council says it'll soon schedule a public hearing on Wal-Mart's requested zoning change in the area.
