Williamsport, Lycoming County-

A Williamsport man was sentenced Friday on charges he traded guns for drugs.

Gregory Ricks will spend up to 14 years in state prison.

Prosecutors say he took the weapons in exchange for crack cocaine.

Ricks has a 30-year criminal history that includes convictions for rape and aggravated assault.

Prosecutors say one of the guns traded by Ricks was later used in a Williamsport murder case.
