PORT CARBON, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY - A rash of arsons in Schuylkill County has one community ready to take action.
The borough of Port Carbon has seen eleven suspicious fires since early April. The latest came on Saturday when a garage was destroyed by an arsonist. Investigators say four other fires have been garages, two have been dumspters and five have been brush fires.
The mayor and police department plan to hold a meeting Tuesday night at 7:00 PM to set-up a neighborhood crime-watch group. | | |
