WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY- Rats, raccoons and opossums. A Wilkes-Barre family says that's whatÕs going into and coming out of a neighboring abandoned home.

417 Hazle Street in Wilkes-Barre has been abandoned for years. A neighbor says she's complained to the property owner and the city. According to her, next to nothing has been done about it.

Now she's fearing for her family's safety. Eyewitness News contacted Wilkes-Barre city officials about the home. The city says a letter was sent to the property owner Wednesday.

He has 5 business days to clean his property or face a fine.
