STROUDSBURG, MONROE COUNTY- The Red Cross in Monroe County is more prepared than ever to deal with emergencies in our area. WBRE News first told you about the major renovation project over the summer. Now it's finished.
It cost more than $100,000. Every cent came from donations. More than 60 businesses chipped in to redo the whole building in Stroudsburg. Excel Storage Products gave the most. It put in $10,000 worth of shelves so workers can organize emergency supplies.
Big companies even gave help. Microsoft donated $5,000 for new computer software.
