LUZERNE COUNTY- It was a emotional night in the Back Mountain of Luzerne County Friday night.
People gathered to light candles in honor of those who have lost their fight against cancer. It is the Luminaria Service.
It was held at Misericorida University. Its all part of the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. Our Andy Mehalshick had the great honor again of reading the names of more than 200 people. Some are fighting cancer others have lost the good fight.
These folks will walk all night and raise some $65,000 dollars for area cancer patients..
Other relays are being held across the area, including Hazleton.
