WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY-Families who lost loved ones to violence gathered at the Luzerne County Courthouse today. National Crime Victims rights week starts on Sunday.
The luzerne County District Attorney's office hosts the event each year.
Its goal is to make sure victims of crime are not forgotten.
Victims rights week continues through may second.
