MAHANOY CITY, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY- The Pennsylvania Republican Party has chosen their nominee to fill the vacant 29th Senatorial seat. Dave Argall will run in the upcoming special election on March 3rd.

The special election is being held since the seat remains vacant after Senator James Rhoades died in an October car crash. Even after Rhoades’ death, his name remained on the ballot in November. Rhoades was re-elected to the seat he held for more than 20 years.

But now a new senator must be chosen.
