NUANGOLA, LUZERNE COUNTY- Nuangola Borough residents had plenty of questions over funding for a new sewer system. The questions come less than a month before council is set to close on nearly four-million dollars worth of loans to fund the project.

The loans are expected to be paid back by the sewer authority, but if they default the borough will be forced to pick up the tab. People at the meeting say they need the new sewer lines but they want to know where the borough would come up with that money.

Residents were told if they want more answers that they should attend the Sewer Authority meeting on Wednesday.
