WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY- Human Resources Manager Doug Richards is expected to resign from his position.

Richards has held that job for several years.

He told the county commissioners Tuesday he'll step down effective December 4th to look for opportunities in the private sector.

Commission Chairwoman Maryann Petrilla says the county will begin a nationwide search for his replacement.
