Rig Gets Stuck Under Scranton Bridge - Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at 11:15AM EST

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- A road in Scranton was shut down this morning after an 18-wheeler got stuck.
A rig got wedged under a railroad bridge over Main Avenue in Scranton, around 1:30 this morning. The road was closed from Farr Street to the Scranton Expressway. Main Avenue reopened around 6:00 A. M.

An inspector called to the scene says the bridge was not damaged.
