WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY-A packed house greeted political figure Robert Novak Tuesday night at Wilkes University.
Novak, a veteran political journalist gave a timely overview of the 2008 election during this crucial time leading up to the state primary.

Novak.. is known to many as"The Prince of Darkness" which is the title of his autobiography.
He spoke openly about his beliefs and opinions concerning the issues and candidates.
He also told the audience what he predicts will happen after the November vote.

"I don't think there's a chance in the world the republicans are going to get back control of either the senate or the house. But increasing substantially there majority's in both the senate and the house, particularly in the senate."
The 77 year old Novak spoke as part of the Allan P. Kirby lecture series at Wilkes.
