Route 940 Re-Opens

HAZLE TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY- Route 940 in one part of Luzerne County is now open.

The section of road has been closed since April after a mine subsidence.
That subsidence forced two families out of their homes in nearby Drifton Estates
And caused a major detour for drivers.
PENNdot crews have been filling the big hole for weeks.
The road is now paved and re-opened
