BEAR CREEK TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY -- Starting Monday PennDOT will begin a safety project on a highway that's been the scene of several high-profile deadly accidents in recent times.
Crews will install a series of upgraded signs along Route 115 in Bear Creek Township. Drivers will eventually see the speed limit reduced to a 45-MPH zone between the PA Turnpike and I-81 ramps.
The lower speed limit will likely take effect before March 15th. | | |
