HARVEYS LAKE, LUZERNE COUNTY- A nice turnout tonight for a good dinner and to lend a helping hand to a harveys lake family who lost everything in a fire.

Dan and Carole Samson escaped with the clothes on their backs New Year's Eve.

Carole is a member of borough council.
Friday night the community came together for a spaghetti dinner fundraiser at the American Legion.
Hundreds of people turned out to help the family get back on their feet.
Holding back tears, Carole Samson told Eyewitness News she was overwhelmed by the support of her community.
A fire fund is also set up at the PNC Bank in Dallas in the Samson family name.
