Motorists looking to take a break from the road are greeted by some friendly faces.
A number of community groups have set up shop this Thanksgiving offering refreshments for weary travelers.
Going southbound on Interstate 81 the Apostolic Faith Church set up at the Nuangola Dorrance exit.
The church members say they have been extremely busy meeting travelers.
So busy in fact that the church stayed longer to provide a cup of coffee and friendship. On the Northbound side the of interstate, the boy scouts from troop 143 in Swoyersville are manning the operation.
While everything is free-many people give a donation. This will help the troop buy some equipment
And for the road weary travelers the safety breaks are a beacon of rest on the way home for the holiday
