BRODHEADSVILLE, MONROE COUNTY-
Keep our school open.
That was the plea in the Poconos Thursday night.

A number of parents voiced their concerns over the possibility of closing Eldred Elementary School. One woman referred to the school as a gem.
The school board cites low enrollment.
They say nearly 400 students have left the district since last February.
If the school is closed students would then attend nearby Polk or Chestnuthill Elementary Schools.
The Board has 90 days to decide.
