HANOVER TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY- There were some scary moments for about a dozen students Thursday after the school bus they were in went down an embankment.
It happened on Route 29 off of Interstate 81 in Hanover Township around 3 o’clock Thursday afternoon.
We are told 10 school kids were inside the Masters Bus Line school bus when it went down a 30 foot embankment. Reports are that the school bus may have lost a tire and that caused the bus to loose control and go down the embankment.
There are no word of any injuries. Rescue crews were on the scene bringing the kids to safety. They were transfered to a second bus and then taken home.
