EXETER, LUZERNE COUNTY Ð A school damaged in a neighborhood explosion earlier this month will open on time Monday.

Crews spent the last four weeks getting John F. Kennedy Elementary School in Exeter ready for Monday's first day of school.

The building sustained both interior and exterior damage august first when a next door home on Penn Avenue blew up.

Superintendent Ray Bernardi told Eyewitness News that everything is ready -- including the cafeteria which took the brunt of the damage.
