POTTSVILLE, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY - An Auburn man was sentenced for his role in a deadly road rage crash Tuesday afternoon in Schuylkill County.
William Moyer, 61, pleaded guilty to homicide by motor vehicle and involuntary manslaughter charges. Moyer was then immediately sentenced to spend up to two years in prison and five years probation.
State Police say Moyer deliberately swerved at a car after it pulled out in front of him on Route 61 in September 2007. The accident caused the driver to hit another car head-on.
23-year-old Angeline Francisci of Hazleton was killed in the road rage incident. | |
