Scranton Armed Forces Parade Saturday - Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 12:46PM EST

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY-Thousands of people are expected to take to the streets for an annual tradition Saturday in Lackawanna County. The 2009 Armed Forces parade will begin at 11:00 in the morning at the Gino Merli Veterans Center in Scranton.
The parade will feature members from every branch of the military.

You and your family are invited to line the parade route to show your support.
Organizers say attendance numbers are important to those who served.
Parade will be televised on WYOU TV at 11 a. m.
