Scranton Building Torn Down After Roof Collapses - Friday, May 29, 2009 at 10:20PM EST

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- Demolition crews were on the scene of a building collapse in Scranton Friday evening.
A big chunk of the roof at a building in the 600 block of Lackawanna Avenue fell down around 4:00 Friday afternoon. No one was inside and no one was hurt. The building is next to the parking lot of Kildaire's.

Because it’s structurally unsound the rest of the building is being ripped down.
