WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY- The civil suit against the Scranton Diocese and its leaders and a former priest who admitted to sex abuse will play out soon in federal court.

WBRE News was there at the Federal Courthouse in Wilkes-Barre on Thursday as attorneys attended a pre-trial conference in the case of Allbert Libertore.

He's the defrocked priest serving a 10-year probation sentence after pleading guilty in two states to sexually abusing a male victim from 1999 to 2002.

Jury selection in the trial begins a week from Monday.
