SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- Fire investigators say a weekend blaze that heavily damaged a vacant house in the Hill Neighborhood of Scranton on Sunday night was intentionally set.

Electrical service to the house on Schultz Court had been cut some time ago, so the fire was considered to be suspicious.

Investigators are checking with neighbors to see if they have any information that could help with their investigation.

The city is already making plans to have the house demolished as soon as possible.
