Scranton Garage Damaged in Fire

Scranton Garage Damaged in Fire - Monday, March 30, 2009 at 08:06AM EST

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY - Firefighters were busy overnight in South Scranton . Flames heavily damaged a garage along the 800 block of Cedar Ave.
Crews arrived at the scene around 3 a. m. Monday morning. The Red Cross was called in to help families who lost power in an apartment building next door.

There is no word on what sparked the flames but the garage did have electric power hooked up.
