Scranton, Lackawanna County -

Scranton police believe that someone watching this newscast has information that can lead them to the killer. Detectives believe somebody saw something that morning and are urging those people to come forward. They do have a "suspect" and are hoping to track him down.

This is video of 79 year old Frank Locks as he walked along Penn Avenue in Scranton in the early morning hours of August 25 th . He was walking near the Gino Merli Center . This video was taken by a security camera on a nearby building moments later. He was slashed in the throat and left to die. He did pass away a month later.

Investigators are looking for a woman who was jogging or power walking in that same area that morning. They are also looking for three vehicles, a teal or green ford explorer, traveling south on Vine Street, a silver Toyota or Subaru, heading north on vine street, and a soft top Cadillac also heading north on Vine Street. We also know that a young man they call a person of interest in the killing was walking across the street just before Locks was attacked.
