SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY -- Scranton police are revealing more information about what led to an overnight hit and run.

The crash happened around 3:00 A. M. at Green Ridge Street and North Washington Avenue following a police pursuit.

Officers were investigating a large fight involving weapons near the former Castle restaurant at Main and Market Streets.

Police eventually caught the hit and run driver who ran from the scene. At least one person was injured in the crash.

Scranton police aren't releasing any names.
