SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY -- Scranton police are investigating the death of a 5-year-old boy.

Angel Vasquez lived at an apartment in the 800-block of Herbert Street. He died Sunday at Lehigh Valley Hospital's burn unit.

An autopsy Tuesday showed he died from complications from burn injuries. Vasquez was burned over 12% of his body.

Investigators are still looking into how the boy got the injuries. They have not yet said if the injuries are suspicious.
