Scranton Raid

Scranton Raid - Thursday, April 16, 2009 at 12:37PM EST

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY-Heavily armed officers planted themselves all over a Scranton City block last night.
Dozens of special tactical officers spent two hours at a Department of Corrections Facility on Aams Avenue.
We observed them checking above drop-ceiling tiles.
They also had a few people in handcuffs.
A K-9 dog was also inside.
No one at the facility would say if anyone was taken away from the building.
Scranton police and state police both said they were not involved with the incident.
We're told the operation was likely a raid.
A corrections worker said everything inside was under control, but refused to provide further details.
