SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- A Scranton man is facing charges after police said he threatened to kill members of the Scranton Police Department and the mayor.

42 year old William Nash was arrested on Wednesday. Investigators said he made a 25 minute call to 911 to threaten the lives of Scranton Police Chief David Elliot, Lieutenant Joseph Arbie, and Mayor Chris Doherty along with the lives of their families.

Police found what they call an arsenal when they searched Nash's North Irving Avenue home.

Nash said he was upset with an investigation of a drive-by shooting that hit his father's car and an incident at a bar where police were called.

Nash is in Lackawanna County Prison on 200 thousand dollars bail.
