LEHMAN TOWNSHIP, PIKE COUNTY - The search for two missing boaters on the Delaware River in Pike County is expected to continue at 8:00 AM on Monday morning.
For the fourth straight day on Sunday, rescue workers spent the day on the river, south of Dingmans Ferry.
62-year-old Richard Skoland and 57-year-old Timothy Panella, both of New Jersey, went missing Thursday afternoon after their boat capsized during a fishing trip. A third man, 58-year-old Ronald Priest was also on the boat, but he was able to get to shore safely.
Rangers say the high river levels on Sunday made the search difficult, but they were able to use a tracking dog and a State Police helicopter to no avail. | |
