Senator Joe Biden returned to his childhood home in Scranton Monday afternoon.

In his old backyard Senator Biden said, "We're home again and this is sort of an emotional moment."

And after he sat down to answer questions at a backyard barbeque, he sat down with us, to talk about his campaign strategy for Pennsylvania .

“This is a state that's been fighting and scrapping and made up of really good people who've been knocked down and getting back up. And it's clear to them, they know the last 8 years and the continuation of the economic policies of this currnet administration, which is what our opponents are talking about is just simply not good for the state," says Senator Biden.

Senator Biden says he and Senator Barack Obama will help change the economic direction of our area.

"We want people coming back home to Scranton . We don't want people leaving Scranton to be able to have a job," said Senator Biden.

And Senator Biden hopes his Scranton roots will help put more votes the ballot box this November.

"There is sort of a larger neighborhood loyalty. And i think what people want to know in my state of delaware and northeastern pennsylvania is, are you really on their side?" said Biden.

Senator Biden's and Obama's plan calls for affordable health care for all Americans.

Also, changing the course of the country's dependency of foreign oil.

He says he key is focusing on alternative energy sources, which would create jobs.

Senator Biden says, “My mom has an expression, I learned it right in this living room. You know, out of everything bad, something good will come for you Joey, if you look hard enough for it. This is an opportunity for a win-win situation."
