SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY - Illinois Senator Barack Hussein Obama visited Scranton Monday afternoon.
He spoke at a private round table discussion with local veterans at Whistle’s pub on Franklin Street.
Before he sat down with the veterans, he met with supporters inside the pub. Many waited for hours to catch a glimpse of the presidential candidate.
He stayed at Whistles for about an hour and a half before leaving to speak at a dinner at the Radisson Hotel. | | |
