SMITHFIELD TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY - State Police in the Poconos are investigating a reported sexual assault.
Troopers say a 36-year-old woman was assaulted early Saturday morning in the "Point of the Gap" parking lot. That is located along Route 611 in Smithfield Township.
Investigators say the victim did not get a good look at the suspect and are urging anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the parking area to give them a call. | | |
