Elysburg, Northumberland County-

A major Pennsylvania state trapshooting event got underway today in our area.

The Kreighoff Challenge kicked off with a bang at the Pennsylvania State Sportsmen’s Association grounds in Elysburg.

There are about 1,200 avid trap shooters in town for the event.

A full line of Kreighoff competition shotguns were also on display for purchase.

The PA State Shoot wraps up on Sunday, June 21st.
