PITTSTON, LUZERNE COUNTY- A softball tournament is being held this weekend to raise money for a fallen state police officer.

22 teams are running the bases at the Pittston City Little League field to raise money for the family of Joshua Miller.

The Pittston native was a state police officer out of the Swiftwater barracks in Monroe County. Miller was killed in the line of duty on June 7.

Pittston City Police Officer Neil Murphy said, "They're state police, we're local police, we have federal police. We're all doing this together. We're all doing the same type of work. We all consider ourselves brothers and we're just trying to help each other out and do something good for the community."

The softball tournament continues Sunday.
