STROUD TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY -- A Monroe County man is accused of stabbing his father.

Police say Gerald Neil, Jr. stabbed his dad Gerald Senior multiple times in the face and chest. Officers tell us he used a metal knife with a 4Ó blade.

It happened at their home on Horizon Drive in Stroud Township just before 9:00 Monday morning.

The father was able to run to a neighbor's house for help. He's being treated at Pocono Medical Center.

Police say the son admitted he attacked his father but they did not reveal a motive.
