Sonic Officially Opens in W-B Township - Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at 4:00PM EST

WILKES-BARRE TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY- Everything old is new again. A new restaurant featuring old time car hops opened in Luzerne County.
Long lines waited to get into the new Sonic in Wilkes-Barre Township today. It features servers on roller blades dropping off orders.

This is the first of 7 more Sonic s scheduled to open in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The next opening is scheduled for December in Hazleton.
