EAST STROUDSBURG, MONROE COUNTY -- A new school bus policy is in place the East Stroudsburg School District. It comes after a driver forgot a special needs student on a bus.
The school district confirmed the driver left a boy in a bus last Monday. They wouldn't say what grade the child is in nor what school he goes to.
The school superintendent could not comment on what might happen to the bus driver because it is a "personnel issue."
She did say a new policy was put in place because of the incident. The chief mechanic will now walk through every bus at the end of the day. | | |
