SHENANDOAH, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY - An illegal alien is behind bars after a stabbing early Saturday morning. Police say it happened in the 200-block of South Main Street in Shenandoah just after 2:00 AM.

Police say 27-year-old Robert Gomez stabbed 19-year-old Danny Malave in the face after a fight. Gomez faces a slew of charges, including simple and aggravated assault. He is locked-up on $50,000 bail.

The victim was taken to the hospital. Police say he lost all vision in one of his eyes.
