CLIFTON TOWNSHIP, LACKAWANNA COUNTY - State Police have identified 28-Year-Old Staff Sergeant Howard Joseph Braxton as the person who was killed in a one vehicle crash on Interstate 380 just after five thirty this morning.

The accident happened when Braxton lost control of his car in the southbound lane of the interstate and rolled several times, striking a tree. Braxton was pronounced dead at the scene. He was wearing his seat belt.

Staff Sergeant Braxton is originally from Hampton, Virgina and was stationed at the Tobyhanna Army Depot.
