DALLAS, LUZERNE COUNTY - Concerns over natural gas drilling brought out a big crowd Saturday afternoon in Luzerne County.

It was standing room only as people discussed the "pros" and "cons" of tapping into the Marcellus Shale at Misericordia University.

Environmental groups and other officials talked with anxious homeowners.

Many are concerned that drilling will cause problems with their drinking water.

"I need information. I live in the Back Mountain. I have a private well. You know there's a big controversy about whether the gas drilling is going to pollute our water or not," Rosalee Berezich of Trucksville said.

Saturday's forum comes after drilling issues came to light in Clearfield and Susquehanna Counties.
