ARCHBALD, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- Are you in need of legal or financial help? If so the state of Pennsylvania wants to help you out.
Governor Ed Rendell announced a new initiative to give free assistance to people statewide today. The announcement was "webcast" live at the NEIU building in Archbald.
Lawyers and bankers from across the state plan to answer your phone calls if you need legal or financial help.
PA Bar Zone 5 Governor Michael McDonald said, ŇI think itŐs a win-win for everyone. I think itŐs a win for the lawyers and bankers and the people, who really need financial help with credit card, mortgages and bankruptcy."
The number to call is 1-888-799-4557. The service will be available only on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 until 6:00 P. M. | | |
