EBERVALE, LUZERNE COUNTY - A driver went off Oakmont Drive, crossed over Rt. 940 and slammed into a house Tuesday night around 9 p. m. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. No one was inside the home that was hit. Those homeowners will have to stay elsewhere after Tuesday's crash.
