WOOLRICH, CLINTON COUNTY- A shootout over the weekend puts an elderly man in the hospital and two cops on administrative duty.

Investigators say 76-year-old James Tobias fired first at state troopers from his home in the Village of Woolrich.

Police then shot back and hit Tobias several times. Sunday state police searched his home and seized 38 guns.

Right now Tobias is in a Danville hospital and is expected to be okay. When he's released, he'll be arrested on attempted murder and assault charges.
