WILLIAMSPORT, LYCOMING COUNTY- There's now a bigger police presence across Williamsport as the department branches out.

A new community policing station will soon open up in the "Albright Life Center," an independent living community for the elderly.

This is the second community police station to open under Mayor Campana's administration. "This is number two", says Williamsport Mayor Gabe Campana, " We will be announcing number three very shortly in another area of the city of Williamsport that is proactive. Community policing works, and it will make a difference in this area and other areas."

The Albright Life Center is providing the space free of charge at its location on Memorial Avenue in Williamsport.
