WEST SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- A West Scranton school student is recovering after being struck by a car Thursday morning.

Police said the 13 year old boy was crossing Luzerne Street when he was struck by a car driven by 27 year old Jennifer Evans of Scranton. The student hit his head on the windshield of the front passenger side of the car. We are told the student’s injuries don't appear to be life threatening.

Evans faces charges of driving with a suspended license.
