SWIFTWATER, MONROE COUNTY - Children in the Poconos spent the day helping others. Students with special needs from the Pocono Mountain East High School "School to Work" program willed more than 500 boxes with presents. They packed them with things like crayons, coloring books, and toys. They'll send the gifts to chronically ill children at Geisinger Hospital.

Student Brandon Parry said, "We're making them for the children that are sick." 2:12 "So that they are happy and get well."

This is all part of the Jared Box Project. It's in honor of a five year old boy who had an inoperable brain stem tumor. His classmates started the project after he died.
